Notwithstanding the subject of the article, there still exists one remaining immunity which would cover any criminal wrongdoing by an attorney. Current and former attorney employees of the DOJ, such as a U.S. Trustee, a granted immunity from all aspects of bankruptcy fraud including false declarations pertaining to conflict disclosures. Apparantly, the interprestation by DOJ employees of the grant of immunity is now extending to prior and subsequent employers and clients of same one time government lawyers. Now we can understand how glorified postal workers with J.D.'s routinely leapfrog 6 year 60 hour per week associates into lawfirm partnership slots.
